There is nothing in the mouth that can scare Sarah. You just try! She says she finds everything mouth and teeth-related fascinating. And that is why she’s our brilliant Oral Health Therapist (OHT).
Not only does Sarah work in Warragul, she shares her skills further afield too. She’s taken part in a volunteer trip to Fiji to educate young children on their oral hygiene, and has been invited to Cambodia next year to volunteer in under-developed communities.
Sarah says she loves seeing the positive impact of her work – whether it’s a smile she’s helped to create or saving a child’s teeth. She absolutely loves working with young children, and adults who have a fear of the dentist, so she can show them how positive and fun the dentist can be.
Outside of work, Sarah is a social butterfly! She has lots of weddings and engagement parties lined up…but also has the travel bug and LOVES exploring new places and countries! Phew, we feel tired just thinking about it!
If you were to pop over to Sarah’s for dinner, she says she’d probably cook some sort of Egyptian dish so you could experience her wonderful culture. Be careful though, you’ll end up wanting to come back for more!
Sarah’s hot tip: Both an electric and manual toothbrush are equally as effective, as long as you use each in the correct way!
