All-On-X dental implants are a treatment designed to replace an entire jaw of missing teeth with just four or more strategically placed implants. Your implants act as a sturdy foundation for your custom-made, full-arch of teeth, designed to look, feel, and function similarly to natural teeth. This treatment may be a suitable option if you’ve lost or damaged most or all of your teeth. Results vary. Individual assessment required.

What All-Teeth-On-X dental implants may offer
All-On-X dental implants provide a range of potential benefits, making them a considered choice for full-arch restoration:
- Stability and durability: Your implants fuse with your jawbone, providing a secure foundation for your new teeth.
- Natural appearance: Custom-made prosthetic teeth are designed to complement your natural features, working toward a lifelike result.
- Improved functionality: Many patients find it easier to eat and speak with implant-supported teeth compared to traditional dentures.
- Bone preservation: Implants may stimulate your jawbone, which can help support bone structure over time.
- Convenience: Unlike traditional dentures, All-On-X implants do not require removal for cleaning.
- Treatment timeline: In many cases, provisional teeth can be placed within a few days of implant surgery, supporting function during your healing period.
Results vary. Individual assessment required.

The All-Teeth-On-X process step-by-step
Step 1: Consultation and Planning
Your treatment begins with a comprehensive consultation at Dentélle by WDC. During this visit, our experienced dental team will assess your oral health, take detailed 3D scans of your teeth and jaws, and discuss your goals and expectations. We’ll create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
Step 2: Implant Placement Surgery
On the day of the surgery, our experienced implant team will place four or more titanium implants into your jawbone. These implants are strategically positioned to support stability for your new teeth. The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic to support your comfort throughout the process.
Step 3: Provisional Teeth
In many cases, a provisional set of teeth can be attached to the implants within a few days after surgery. This allows you to leave our clinic with a functional set of teeth while you heal. Your temporary teeth will be worn during your healing period.
Step 4: Healing
Over the next few months, your implants will gradually fuse with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. This creates a stable foundation for your new teeth. During this time, you will visit our clinic for regular check-ups to monitor your progress and healing.
Step 5: Final Placement of your new smile
Once the implants have fully integrated with your jawbone, your final set of custom-made teeth will be attached. Your teeth will be crafted to suit the shape, colour, and size of your natural teeth, working toward a natural-looking result. Our team will make any necessary adjustments to ensure a comfortable fit.
Risks and Recovery
Possible risks include:
- Swelling, bruising or discomfort in the days following surgery
- Minor bleeding during the initial healing period
- Infection or delayed healing in rare cases
- Risk of implant failure if proper healing does not occur
- Nerve irritation or sinus involvement, depending on implant placement
Recovery considerations:
- Initial healing usually takes one to two weeks
- Temporary teeth are often provided within days of surgery, with final teeth placed after full healing
- Full osseointegration of implants typically requires several months
- Patients are advised to follow a soft diet during early healing and attend all follow-up visits
